CW Design, Inc. was formed in 2006 to offer design consultant services. Candice’s goal was to help a few architectural friends who needed assistance on their public safety projects. She was able to supplement their project teams to help complete programming, design and construction milestones.
Candice had the great fortune to work at RRM Design Group for over 18 years, where she designed and implemented public sector projects. As her experience and skills grew, she was promoted to lead and manage the Civic and Public Studio, where she expanded the firm’s public sector portfolio. As an associate, she managed the architectural practice for all of the offices.
Candice met the team at CM Construction Services while working on police and fire projects. Over time, she expanded her services to collaborate with the CMCS team on pre-construction and construction management services.
In 2014, Candice took on a unique assignment to form the public studio at TEN OVER STUDIO and to create their public portfolio. Candice took on the role of principal of the public studio where she pursued opportunities, manage projects, and mentor staff in on civic and public safety project types.
What started as a side hustle to help a few architectural friends supplement their project teams as they started their architectural and construction management firms, turned into a thriving practice.
